Planning An Event?
Our no obligation tasting, personally cooked and served by Chef Seth Mias, allows you to sample our food before making any decisions. It is a tasting in which Chef Mias can guide you with your menu selections, and provide you with an opportunity to ask detailed questions.

Weddings
We've hosted every kind of wedding you can think of - from the very formal five course meal to the cowboy barbecue kind - complete with an outdoor grill and tequila bar! As you think about your wedding menu, focus on the experience you would like to create for your guests, and we'll work with you to put together an appropriate selection of food and drink.

We are a no-fee catering service, with no additional cake cutting fees or staffing fees. Aside from our standard tax and gratuity charges the only items you will be charged for are your food and beverage selections.

Linens, china, and all of your necessary food amenities are provided at any of our preferred locations for a nominal charge. We can also assist you in ordering specialty linens, china and silver from a list of fine distributors. Our preferred vendor list will help you select specialty flowers, cake and invitations, just give us a call!

Retirement Parties
Retirement parties can be catered at either your place of work, or at one of our preferred locations. Our huge buffet selection works well for this type of event, and allows us to serve you while you and your guests have a good time.

Corporate Functions
For our business clients, we offer breakfast and lunch selections suitable for meetings. We also cater cocktail parties, as well as elegant sit-down meals for celebratory occasions, such as year-end parties, and sales recognition events. We are pleased to count Smith College, Brockway Smith, Coca Cola of Northampton, and the Hampshire Franklin Court System as some of our many satisfied corporate clients.

Funerals
The loss of a loved one is often unexpected, and the last thing you should need to worry about is organizing a reception. We can arrange for funeral receptions with only three days notice, at any of our preferred locations where we can quickly provide all of the necessary rentals and staffing. Full luncheons complete with hall booking and all rentals are available at affordable rates. Please inquire about our special funeral reception packages- our Informal Buffet Menu works well for such gatherings.

Meet Cate Wall

Director, Operations & Catering

Cate Wall manages our business operations and event catering. Cate is your contact and event manager from start to finish. She begins by working with you to design an event that is customized to your needs and she ensures that on the day of your event all of the details are in place and things are running smoothly.

"I think that the catering industry allows us to be a part of some of the most special and memorable moments in people's lives," says Cate. "We get to experience and assist with the planning of weddings, birthdays, and milestones. Even sad occasions bring families and friends together in remembrance of happier times. Being a part of those events is a special feeling, and when you have clients who return to you for each new milestone, it's a wonderful experience!"

Cate is an active member of the Northampton Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining Seth Mias Catering, Cate was the Catering Manager and Wedding Coordinator for The Hotel Northampton. Cate earned her Masters Degree in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
